Why this portal?
It doesn’t matter who is involved, but the motivations of the people who work to promote Basilicata professionally and with passion.
The meeting of four lovers of the territory, who believe in the strength of communities, gave birth to this online resource.
Who is behind these pages and why?

A welcoming community
The protagonist of these pages is the community, with its stories and the images that portray and tell it.
The authors below are part of a community in which many want to bring about change.
Bringing these energies together is a priority.

Una tessitrice appassionata
A passionate weaver
Originally from Lucania, she returned to live there, preferring the tranquility to the hustle and bustle of the capital. She revived her parents’ house, where she also welcomes travellers who want to live an experience in contact with nature.
Fernanda Serra builds relationships and presides over an association of tour operators; she embraced this idea because it is deeply linked to Basilicata.

One who always looks beyond
Twenty years ago he chose to live part of his origins.
He spent himself, knocking down walls, to make Basilicata the seat of the first online tourism exchange, 3 years before the BTO in Florence. Giovanni Sapienza continued to promote the territories with events, innovative activities and contributed, with an idea, to change the fate of the place where he lives. Promoter of Community Tourism, he never stops imagining what is yet to come. Because he believes in it.
